The Foundation of Delaware County Podcast
A five year resident and business owner in Delaware county PA, Jennifer Kennedy decided it was time to venture out from behind the computer and get more active in the community. She reached out and explored different business organizations and networking groups for the past two years and realized how rich this community is in culture, history and events and is delighted to be part of it. An entrepreneur at heart, Jennifer decided to launch a community podcast web site as a way to share her discoveries and experiences.
Not being a native of Delaware County, she brings an outsider’s perspective to the goings-on around her. Her family originates in Indianapolis, where her Grandma’s parents were farmer settlers from Germany and Grandpa helped televise the Indy 500 during his 25 years at Indiana Bell. Her parents met at Indiana University and since then she and her parents have lived in Charlotte North Carolina, Boston Massachusetts and settled in State College, Pennsylvania, home of the Pennsylvania State University where Jennifer graduated in 1996. Shortly after, she moved to the Philadelphia area seeking opportunities.
Don’t let her easygoing attitude fool you. Jennifer has accomplished a lot, including running a website development business for the past five years, through which she creates website applications that enhance the effectiveness of business and organizations. She uses her understanding of client/server architecture to produce website applications that enable organizations to achieve their goals. She has also studied leadership development, successfully managed projects, served on various boards, and in 2007 Jennifer won an award for excellence in communication.
Her aptitude for computers, software, websites and the internet have led her to serve others behind the computer screen. DelawareCountyPodcast.com is a way to enrich both her own life and the lives of her neighbors, as well as to provide a valuable service and resource to the Delaware County community.
